This 3,734 hectare park, located next door to Lockhart Beach Provincial Park. contains-a pristine watershed rising steeply from the slopes of Kootenay Lake to some beautiful alpine meadows. The park preserves old-growth cedar-hemlock forests and offers creek fishing for bull trout and rainbow. The only access into the park rs by way of the Lockhart Creek Trail, which leads from the shores of Kootenay Lake to Baker Lake. Horseback riding along with hunting with appropriate licences and tags is permitted in the park.
