The Boswell Memorial Hall Society was incorporated in Boswell, B.C., in 1927, although the organization began in 1919. The society was established to build and operate a community hall to act as a memorial to those killed in World War I.

Today the hall hosts a myriad of community events including yoga classes, fitness classes, lawn bowling, vintners meetings, book club, health society meetings, first responders meetings, EDC meetings, Nifty Needlers, Crime Watch, East Shore Freshwater Habitat, BADEV, dances, parties, weddings and memorials and so much more.
