This is a wonderful example of community collaboration. The beach has course sand. There is parking at the entrance with bathrooms and garbage. Picnic tables are located closer to the beach. A donation is requested to help with upkeep of the site.
Mackie Beach is a small south-facing community park and beach with course sand and lots of sunshine in Boswell.
The beach is just north o the Public Boat Launch with the entrance at beginning of Lewis Bay Road, where there is limited parking, bathrooms and garbage. Other amenities include picnic tables located closer to the beach.
Note that the beach is also surrounded by private homes and visitors are requested to be respectful and pack-out whatever you bring with you. As a community run beach, a donation is requested to help with upkeep of the site.
