Crawford Bay School

Crawford Bay Elementary-Secondary School is a small, rural, K-12 school on Kootenay Lake, British Columbia, with approximately 80 students. As a community of learners, we aim to:

• Balance foundational skill development and prescribed learning outcomes with personal exploration and inquiry;
• Engage our community and region in the learning process and school programming, with the classroom considered the ‘base camp’; and
• Evolve the ideas of supporting each student with a ‘learner profile’ and developing with each student a ‘personal learning plan’.
