South Kootenay Lake Community Service Society (SKLCSS) is a non-profit organization operating on the East Shore of Kootenay Lake that focuses primarily on Seniors and Youth Programming but also acts as an umbrella agency that sponsors and administers community funded programs and projects that foster and promote community and economic stability and growth.
Our primary programs are the East Shore Youth Network and Junior Squad which addresses the needs of local youth in the area by organizing events and workshops for youth that provide opportunities based on diverse youth input.
Our East Shore Elder Care Program is focused on helping and supporting our local seniors so that they can age in place, remain in their own homes for as long as possible and to help seniors access programs and services.
