A peaceful mountain dwelling nestled on a hillside overlooking the magnificent Kootenay Lake. Peace and privacy abound in this little cabin located next to our house on 50 acres of farmland, garden and forest. Immerse yourself in natural beauty.
This is a cozy guest cabin located next to the house we live in. The kitchen has only basic features i.e.. a countertop, sink, bar fridge, hotplate and basic kitchen ware/cooking utensils. Internet access is achieved by being in close proximity to the main house and a password will be provided. If you are travelling with a young child, a portable cot or sleeping mat should be brought along with you, if you need an extra sleeping space. There is also a second guest cabin next to this one that has a separate listing here on Airbnb and could be used for an older child or two if need be.
Guests are asked to remain around the cabin(s) they are renting. If you would like a tour of the grounds, let us know.
There are two other homes on the land that are rented out longterm to full-time residents. I like to be able to ensure that all people have their privacy which is why I ask that you stay near the cabin(s) you are renting. The barnyard is home to some friendly animals and they love people, so if you visit them please do so only from over the fence. Walking up the mountain is great exercise and offers some stunning views of the lake and mountains but this is the wilderness so proceed with care and caution.
