Sanca Creek (Haystack Alpine) Trail

A 13km one -way hike follows a horse trail over the pass between Meachen and Sanca Creeks. The moderate 5hour trail provides good access to sub-alpine lakes and the surrounding peaks and ridges of Kianuko Provincial Park. You can also make side trips ot Meachen Lake, Haystack Lake and Kianuko Creek. However, Hikers will have to contend with the many creek crossings (ont recommended during spring runoff). A shuttle vehicle system is recommended. As is a high clearance vehicle to access the trailheads.
